The community immediately surrounding the client's location in North Phoenix is one with its share of challenges. Poverty and hunger are daily struggles for many families. In Arizona, one in four children doesn't get enough to eat. We videotaped a group of children eating lunch at Lincoln Learning Center, a day care and preschool operated by the client. We lit the group and told the kids we were still setting up. All the while, the camera was running. They were very free and animated. Had we told them we were shooting, they likely would have clammed up. It worked out great! Motion graphics were added in post to emphasize the key points in the spot.
